waEV-charge work alongside a network of EV installers to cover the UK Nationwide, therefore we are able to offer the complete sales, install and aftercare package. Once your order is placed, we will connect you with your local installer.

What happens if my vehicle integration disconnects?

If the integration disconnects for any reason, such as the vehicle manufacturer service going offline, the charger will default to charging at the maximum rate during the configured off-peak charging period, provided the vehicle is plugged in.

What can I see on the Dashboard?

Your Dashboard shows charger status, charging history, connected devices, recent charging sessions and reward balances.

Do our units have dynamic load balancing? If so how do we set the limit?

All waEV-charge 7.4kW models have dynamic load balancing, they come with a CT clamp as standard. Our 22kW range currently offers static load balancing, with dynamic load balancing coming later this year. You can set the grid limit through the waEV-charge installer app.

Can I still manually charge my vehicle?

Yes. Manual charging is still available when needed. Once your vehicle is plugged in, a Boost option will appear on the main Dashboard screen. Selecting Boost will immediately begin charging outside of your smart schedule.

Do I need a waEV-charge charger to use waEV-smart?

Yes. waEV-smart is designed specifically for compatible waEV-charge chargers.
