£150 back when you smart charge with waEV-smart. The £150 lands in your waEV-smart app wallet once every step below is done.
1. Buy an EV1s or an EV1i direct from waEV-charge. The 7kW and 22kW versions both qualify.
2. Have the charger installed before 28 February 2027.
3. Set up waEV-smart within 7 days of that install.
4. Smart charge with waEV-smart for 60 days.
5. After those 60 days, £150 lands in your app wallet.
A purchase through a partner, a salary sacrifice scheme, or any other third party does not qualify.
Anyone using another app, or a supplier smart tariff, to do the smart charging instead of waEV-smart does not qualify. That includes Intelligent Octopus Go, E.ON Next Smart and OVO Charge Anytime, because those tariffs take control of the charging.
Only the EV1s and the EV1i. Buy them direct from waEV-charge.
EV1sEV1iUp to 750 miles a month is not this £150. It is the separate waEV-smart reward: up to £15 a month, described on the waEV-smart page as roughly 750 miles at 8p per kWh and 0.250 kWh per mile. It needs a half-hourly smart meter, SMETS1 enrolled in the DCC or SMETS2. Earnings vary with how often you charge and with what the grid needs. Joining waEV-smart is £0.
