If your energy provider requires full control of charging sessions, we currently recommend using the provider’s native smart charging functionality rather than waEV-smart scheduling.
The waEV-charge EV chargers are fully OZEV certified and meet the new June 2022 regulations, therefore it is eligible for all available government grants. Please click here for more information on current grants.
A cost-per-session feature is currently being added, which will allow users to enter their electricity tariff pricing and view estimated charging session costs.
If you need additional charging outside of your normal off-peak hours, you can either use Boost mode or temporarily extend your tariff schedule settings within the app.
If not connecting straight away, please reset the charger as well as close down and restart the waEV-charge installer app, you should now be able to connect to the relevant WiFi connection.
