Axle Energy is waEV-charge’s authorised flexibility services partner, helping power the smart charging and rewards functionality behind waEV-smart. Axle Energy helps balance electricity demand across the grid by intelligently shifting EV charging to more optimal times.
If the integration disconnects for any reason, such as the vehicle manufacturer service going offline, the charger will default to charging at the maximum rate during the configured off-peak charging period, provided the vehicle is plugged in.

The EV1i is a tethered EV charger meaning it comes with a 5-meter cable attached to plug into your car. The EV1s is untethered meaning you are able to connect your own charging cable. The EV1s does not come with a charging cable.
