Where can I find my Access Code?

Your Access Code can be found at the back of the installer manual supplied with your charger.

What is a Standard Install, and what does it cover?

Standard installation covers installation of your waEV-charge EV charger on a brick or plaster wall, a maximum run of 10m of cable from the wall-mounted position to your consumer unit (fuse box), with no civil or remedial electrical work required.

How do I set my charging schedule?

During setup, you can configure an Auto Schedule by selecting your required battery percentage and desired ready-by time.

What is a Dynamic tariff?

A Dynamic tariff changes electricity pricing throughout the day based on wholesale energy market conditions, allowing waEV-smart to optimise charging around lower-cost periods.

Do I need permissions to install an EV charger?

If the route of cabling or the charger location crosses any boundary lines that are not owned by yourself, permissions would be needed from the relevant authority for it to be installed.
