If the integration disconnects for any reason, such as the vehicle manufacturer service going offline, the charger will default to charging at the maximum rate during the configured off-peak charging period, provided the vehicle is plugged in.

These tariffs require the energy provider to have direct control over charging sessions, which conflicts with waEV-smart scheduling functionality.
A Dual Rate tariff has separate daytime and nighttime electricity rates. waEV-smart will automatically aim to charge your vehicle during the cheaper off-peak periods.
A Smart tariff is specifically designed for energy-provider-controlled EV charging, where your energy supplier directly manages and controls when your vehicle charges. Examples include Intelligent Octopus Go, EON Next Smart and OVO Charge Anytime.
