Please ensure your charger is connected to WiFi, your phone remains nearby during the update and you wait the full 5 minutes after confirmation. If issues persist, please contact waEV-charge support.
If not connecting straight away, please reset the charger as well as close down and restart the waEV-charge installer app, you should now be able to connect to the relevant WiFi connection.
Yes. Charging schedules and preferences can be updated within the app at any time.
The waEV-charge EV chargers can only be operated once the unique RFID waEV-Card is swiped or ev.energy smart charging app is activated therefore you’re fully protected from unauthorised use.
You can either contact ourselves or a local electrician to replace the breaker. If via ourselves this would cost a one-time £120 +VAT fee which includes parts and labour.
A Smart tariff is specifically designed for energy-provider-controlled EV charging, where your energy supplier directly manages and controls when your vehicle charges. Examples include Intelligent Octopus Go, EON Next Smart and OVO Charge Anytime.
