What if I don’t want to utilise smart scheduling, how can I still use the charger?

If smart scheduling is disabled, you can simply just plug the cable into the vehicle, and it will start charging until it’s either unplugged or fully charged. Additionally, you can still have smart scheduling enabled so you get all the added benefits of security functionality, but you just utilise the ‘boost charge’ function which will then charge the car immediately if plugged in.

How do I set my charging schedule?

During setup, you can configure an Auto Schedule by selecting your required battery percentage and desired ready-by time.

Do you offer an installation service?

waEV-charge work alongside a network of EV installers to cover the UK Nationwide, therefore we are able to offer the complete sales, install and aftercare package. Once your order is placed, we will connect you with your local installer.

What if my firmware update fails?

Please ensure your charger is connected to WiFi, your phone remains nearby during the update and you wait the full 5 minutes after confirmation. If issues persist, please contact waEV-charge support.

Do I need to create an account?

Yes. You will need a waEV-charge account to use waEV-smart.
