we selected WaEV because, unlike other companies, you can basically guarantee your time to get it fitted before you have to pay. Other companies make you pay them then say they'll call you to schedule but that was too ambiguous for us as we were picking our car up very soon. We selected the 14 day service with WaEV and it was booked in within 48 hours and fitted within 10 days. Payment is half upfront and half upon completion of fitting. The fitter was from Smarter Utilities (Stuart) and he was excellent. He did a really great, tidy job, and didnt leave till he had helped me set up the app on my phone to use. The WaEV app is really good- you can schedule your charging at your tariff cheap time, and every morning it tells you how much it cost to charge. The only annoyance is that there are only certain cars you can link to it 'officially' and if you need to add a car that isnt on their list then you can only have one. We own two cars not on their list so its a bit annoying I have to charge the second car using the first cars details, but its not that big of an issue. Would just be good if they allowed you to add more than one car. The unit itself is non obtrustive and looks good. Its sleek and fancy and has a traffic light system to show you if its ready to use, charging, or if theres an issue. Highly recommend WaEV!
