How to update your charger's firmware

  • Automatic updates: By default, your charger is set to update its firmware automatically. To receive automatic updates, your charger must be connected to your Wi-Fi network.
  • Manual updates:
    1. Open the waEV-charge app.
    2. Go to "Charger Settings."
    3. Select "Firmware Update."
    4. If a new firmware version is available, you will see an "Update Now" button. Tap it to start the update process.
  • Important: Do not unplug or turn off your charger during the firmware update process. The LED indicator will flash white during the update and turn solid blue when the update is complete.
